Privacy Policy

1 Data Storage

All your financial data — including accounts, transactions, subscriptions, and assets — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.

If you enable iCloud Sync (a PRO feature), your data is synced through Apple's CloudKit infrastructure. This data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple. We do not have access to your iCloud data.

2 Information We Do Not Collect

DailyCoin does not collect:

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
• Financial account numbers or credentials
• Location data
• Usage analytics or tracking data
• Advertising identifiers

3 AI Processing

DailyCoin uses third-party AI services (Google Gemini, DeepSeek, Doubao) to process voice and text input for bookkeeping. When you use AI features:

• Your input text or voice transcription is sent to the selected AI provider for processing.
• Screenshot images are sent to the AI provider when you use the screenshot recognition feature.
• AI providers process the data according to their own privacy policies.
• We do not store your AI input or output on any server.

4 Camera, Microphone & Photos

DailyCoin requests access to:

• Microphone: For voice bookkeeping and speech recognition. Audio is processed on-device by Apple's Speech framework.
• Camera: For taking photos of receipts or financial documents for AI recognition.
• Photo Library: For selecting existing images for AI recognition.
• Speech Recognition: For converting speech to text on-device.

These permissions are only used when you explicitly initiate the corresponding feature. No data is collected in the background.

5 Backup & Export

When you export a backup file, your data is encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption. The encrypted file is stored locally and shared only through the method you choose (AirDrop, Files, etc.). We never receive a copy of your backup.

6 Subscriptions & Payments

DailyCoin offers in-app subscriptions managed entirely through Apple's App Store. All payment processing is handled by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID.

7 Third-Party Services

DailyCoin uses the following third-party services:

• Yahoo Finance API: For exchange rates and stock quotes. No personal data is sent.
• Google Gemini API: For AI text/image processing (when selected as AI provider).
• DeepSeek API: For AI text processing (when selected as AI provider).
• Doubao API: For AI text/image processing (when selected as AI provider).

8 Children's Privacy

DailyCoin is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9 Data Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete all your data at any time by:

• Deleting the app from your device
• Using the import/export feature to manage your data

If you have iCloud Sync enabled, deleting the app will also remove your data from iCloud after a period determined by Apple.

10 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
